All standard orders will be shipped four to five business days of confirmation from our team that they have received your order. If your order includes an item that we indicated will be shipped at a later date, we will only ship the entire order out together once the item arrives.
Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We are not responsible for any customs and import duty charges.
It’s our goal to ensure you have the best possible experience with us, and so we offer returns valid for 30 days from the date of arrival. As such, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Unfortunately, all items purchased during a sale or marked at a discounted rate cannot be exchanged or refunded. If you send them back to us for a return we will not be able to process a refund. If you have any questions about sizing, fit, or fabric, please reach out to our customer service before placing your order.
Yes, we offer complete jewelry appraisals for insurance using the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)grading standards. Our rate is $150 per item. Our turnaround time is usually two weeks or less and is always done in-house.
We are happy to update any previous appraisal from Herman Hiss & Company for $75 per item. Each piece needs to be inspected by the appraiser before any update can be completed.

Herman Hiss & Company accepts cash, checks, and all major credit cards as well as Apple Pay.
We offer full refunds on qualifying items, in their original condition, within 14 days of the originalpurchase. After 14 days, we are happy to offer an exchange or store credit.
*We must have the original form of payment present to issue a full refund.
Custom items and special orders (items that we do not normally stock) are not eligible for returns. Itemson clearance and sale items are not eligible for return.
