Herman Hiss + the LPGA is a Winning Team July 24, 2019 – Posted in: The Latest

We have hundreds of great memories from the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational and all the surrounding events.

We enjoyed delicious food and beverages during the Eat Great Food Festival. Nick got to participate in the Pro-Am day. Tom was on My 96.1 WHNN with Art Lewis talking about golf and jewelry. We also loved drawing names from a hat to give away tickets to the Eat Great festival and weekly passes to the LPGA event.

Our favorite moment, though, was presenting the pendants that Nick designed to winners Jasmine Suwannapura and Cydney Clanton.

Nick, 5th generation co-owner of Herman Hiss, designed the 18k white gold and diamond necklace with custom pendant for the two-woman team who won the inaugural Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational tournament. Each woman received her own necklace. In addition, one event volunteer received a smaller version of the necklace.

The $6,000 necklace resembles well-known Midland-area landmarks. It was important to use to work with a Michigan jewelry maker, so we chose Utica-based HL Manufacturing to create the piece.

We were proud to serve as partners for the LPGA Tour and excited that Herman Hiss is attracting local media attention.
